About Me

Hi, I’m Avner – thanks for stopping by.
I’m an SEO specialist with over 12 years of experience helping small businesses show up higher on Google and turn website visitors into real customers. My background is a mix of SEO and user experience (UX), which means I focus on both getting traffic and making sure that traffic converts. Over the years, I’ve helped many local businesses reach the top results on Google, and get more clients / customers.
Before consulting full-time, I spent 10+ years as a Senior UX Researcher in the e-commerce world. There, I helped design and market products that went on to generate over $20M in sales, improved content for 100+ products, and helped multiple listings reach “Best Seller” status on major marketplaces like Amazon and eBay.
My goal with this site is to share clear, transparent, and practical SEO advice that you can apply on your own – no jargon, no gatekeeping, and no need to hire anyone unless you choose to. SEO shouldn’t feel mysterious or complicated, and I want this to be a resource that helps you understand what actually moves the needle so you can see real results for your business.

Medical SEO Case Study – Home Care Agency
Worked on a health company based in South Florida. This project involved a complete website overhaul, including the addition of 40+ pages of content and comprehensive SEO work. Click here to learn more.
Contractor SEO Case Study – Florida Mold Removal Company
Mold removal is a highly competitive contractor niche in Florida due to the high rate of insurance coverage. This project focused on targeting very specific, high-intent services through what I call hero pages – dedicated pages designed to rank for narrow, specialized needs. Click here to learn more.
Beauty SEO Case Study – Organic Growth for a New Medspa
Medspas are another highly competitive niche due to the low barrier to entry and high margins. For this site, we focused on organic search rankings, as the spa was newly launched and lacked the volume of reviews typically required to compete in map pack results. Click here to learn more.

Working with Avner has been a game-changer for our clients. He’ll tell you exactly what’s worth your time and what isn’t. We’ll keep sending clients his way for years to come.

Common SEO Questions
Some questions about SEO come up more often than others. Here are the ones I hear most from business owners.
How long does it take to rank at the top?
You should see measurable progress within the first 1–2 months, with strong results typically appearing within 2–4 months.
The timeline depends on your current rankings and the level of competition. Highly competitive niches – or cases where you’re already close to the top – often take longer to see noticeable gains, since improvements require outperforming well-established competitors.
How much does SEO cost?
My monthly SEO service is $800. Across the industry, pricing typically ranges from $300 to $2,500+ per month, depending on quality and scope.
Prices vary so widely because SEO has a low barrier to entry, and many lower-cost agencies subcontract much of the work.
Because SEO is now a standard service, quality is more important than ever. Businesses that rank at the top typically rely on experienced, hands-on SEO consultants. To outperform them and overcome their momentum, you need an expert.
How are you different from other SEO consultants?
Most importantly, I have extensive experience ranking local sites at the top of Google (see results).
Unlike many SEO consultants, I bring a background as a conversion researcher and a former ecommerce manager. This means I don’t just help you rank—I help turn visitors into customers. You can read more about me and my approach.
Is SEO all you need to get customers?
In my experience, successful local businesses consistently have three things:
- Strong SEO
- A website designed to convert visitors into customers
- Positive, trustworthy reviews
When all three work together, businesses perform extremely well online.
Why do I need ongoing SEO work?
You might not need it; it depends on your niche.
In competitive markets, even after reaching the top, competitors are constantly publishing content and building links to outrank you.
This follows the principle of diminishing returns: the #4 position may be easier to maintain than #2, but it also receives significantly less traffic.
I hurt my site's rankings. What should I do?
The good news is that if the issue was caused by a specific mistake, it’s often much easier to fix than an unexplained Google penalty.
I’ve helped sites recover their rankings before, and the most important step is to address the problem quickly.
